Gettysburg Campus offers day-long Living and Learning Event

Want to learn more about Adams County’s Hidden Treasures, Renoir Landscapes or possibly The Secret? Maybe learning how to motivate yourself and others or reminiscing about life in the 50s are more your style. If so, plan now to attend HACC’s Living & Learning Seminars on the Gettysburg Campus at 731 Old Harrisburg Road.

HACC will host the event from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 8. For a $45 registration fee, participants will receive a continental breakfast, a choice of three one and one half hour mini-courses of general interest, and a buffet lunch.

Session topics are varied and include such titles as “Black Voices in Gettysburg,” “Could You Pass the U.S. Citizen’s Test,” “Women of Conviction: Joan of Arc/Elizabeth I,” “The Good Old Days: Life in the Fifties,” and “Ghosts 101.”

For a detailed brochure, complete with course descriptions, call 717-338-1010 or send an email to Carol Gerkin, director of continuing education by clicking on the email contact below.
