Free informational session starts at 6 p.m. Nov. 16

GETTYSBURG – If going to college is on your radar screen, plan to attend a free “Get It Started” informational session Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Gettysburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
The event starts promptly at 6 p.m. in the Robert C. Hoffman Community Room (130) at the campus at 731 Old Harrisburg Road. Enjoy campus tours and hear what faculty and current students have to say about HACC.
In just two hours, participants will learn about:
• Transfer and career options
• Programs that can get you into a career
• How easy it is to enroll and attend
• Financial Aid and scholarship information
• How HACC credits transfer to four-year schools
• Student life, clubs and activities
“This is an exciting time to be a part of the HACC-Gettysburg Campus,” said Heather Watt, admissions recruitment coordinator. “We are seeing strong enrollment at the campus as many students are choosing to start their college education at HACC.
“HACC also offers opportunities for displaced workers and students looking for another career path. With programs that prepare students for a career or for transferring to a four-year college or university, there is something for everyone at HACC,” Watt added. “Attending the ‘Get It Started’ open house allows students and families the opportunity to learn about HACC, meet students, faculty and staff and tour the state-of-the-art campus in Gettysburg.”
An RSVP is encouraged but not required. To register or for more information, call the Gettysburg Campus at 337-3855, then press 1, or go to www.hacc.edu/Gettysburg.
