HACC Students Benefit from Enhanced Transfer Pathway to Millersville University or Shippensburg University
Three Pennsylvania postsecondary institutions have partnered to give their students academic guidance and student success services for a seamless transition from an associate degree to a bachelor’s degree.
On Dec. 5, 2022, the presidents of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College; Millersville University; and Shippensburg University signed an historic enhanced articulation agreement that is the first multi-institution, multi-program study articulation for the three institutions. The presidents and representatives from the three institutions gathered at HACC’s Harrisburg Campus for the signing event.

HACC, Yaskawa Motoman Robotics announce partnership

HACC-operated site at Chambersburg Mall is Motoman Robotics' new training center for Northeast operations

Grand opening of Chambersburg robotics lab
Representatives from HACC and Yaskawa Motoman Robotics cut the ribbon - with the help of two robots - for the grand opening of a Motoman Endorsed Robotics Instructor Training (MERIT) center at the Chambersburg Mall. Through the program, community colleges and universities such as HACC bring the same level and quality of Motoman training to the regional manufacturing workforce.
Standing directly behind the ribbon are, from left, Tom Lepp, HACC mechatronics instructor; Evelyn Weaver, HACC Franklin County coordinator; Steve Holland, Motoman training manager; Ron Young, HACC provost and vice president of academic affairs and enrollment management; Cindy Reiner, dean of workforce training; and Shannon Harvey, interim vice president for HACC-Gettysburg Campus.
