HACC Artisan Marketplace returns to Adams County

Show runs April 7-June 2 at Serendipity on the circle in New Oxford

GETTYSBURG – A juried selection of finely crafted products designed by local artisans will be on display this spring at the third annual Artisan Marketplace of Adams County.
HACC Institute for Entrepreneurial Services has partnered with Serendipity on the circle to offer the event at the gallery, 2 Center Square, New Oxford. All items are available for sale.
The marketplace will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, April 7. A special “Meet the Artists” event will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Marketplace hours in April are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday. The gallery is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. It also will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 8.
Marketplace hours in May are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday. The gallery is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
“We’re glad to provide business guidance and contacts so these artists and artisans who are growing small businesses or who are home-based can showcase and sell their artwork,” said Fran Verotsky, director of HACC Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. “With the success of our Artisans Marketplace program, we’ve been able to expand to more locations within the midstate. We believe, in time, these artisans will develop a solid customer base.”
The Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies developed the marketplaces to provide business planning and execution to help local craftspeople launch their small business. The institute also operates marketplaces in Perry County and in York.
