HACC Students Benefit from Enhanced Transfer Pathway to Millersville University or Shippensburg University
Three Pennsylvania postsecondary institutions have partnered to give their students academic guidance and student success services for a seamless transition from an associate degree to a bachelor’s degree.
 
On Dec. 5, 2022, the presidents of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College; Millersville University; and Shippensburg University signed an historic enhanced articulation agreement that is the first multi-institution, multi-program study articulation for the three institutions. The presidents and representatives from the three institutions gathered at HACC’s Harrisburg Campus for the signing event.

Talkabouts at HACC Scheduled in May

Sessions in Harrisburg and York


Thursday
May 24           Talkabouts -- HACC Midtown 1 – Learn how to increase traffic, leads and sales for your small business by reaching more than 11 million people on Pinterest during the May session of HACC’s Talkabouts. Marjorie Kirchner, a social media expert and HACC business counselor, has been involved with Pinterest since its inception and will share how to use this upcoming social media platform to grow your business.                    
                        Held noon-1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at HACC Midtown 1, Room 227, 1523 N. Fourth St., Harrisburg. Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch. The Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies will provide a dessert and beverage. Call 1-800-ABC-HACC (800-222-4222), ext. 1311 to reserve a seat.

May 31           Talkabouts – HACC-York Campus Cytech Building – What is your Emotional Quotient? Learn how your ability to empathize, understand and communicate effectively can impact your professional success during the May session of HACC’s Talkabouts. Sylvia Hepler of Launching Lives LLC, will lead the discussion on EQ and why it is important to every business owner.
Held noon-1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 31, in the Cytech Building, Gladfelter Community Room, at the HACC-York Campus, 2161 Pennsylvania Ave. Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch. The Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies will provide a dessert and beverage. Reservations are required. Call 1-800-ABC-HACC (800-222-4222), ext. 1311 to reserve a seat.  
Before and after the Talkabout presentation, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., local entrepreneurs will showcase their businesses during The Entrepreneur’s Expo. Unique items will be for sale.
