HACC TheatreWorks presents holiday mayhem in ‘Greetings!’

Public performances Nov. 16-18 at Rose Lehrman Arts Center

HARRISBURG – “Greetings,” a holiday-themed comedy written by Tom Dudzick and directed by HACC Theatre Professor Marnie Brennan, will be presented by HACC TheatreWorks at the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on the Harrisburg Campus of HACC.

This funny and heart-warming tale culminates into an evening with laughter and perhaps some tears. Evening performances will take place on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16 and 17, 2012, at 8 p.m. and a matinee on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at 2 p.m.
This five-character comedy tells the tale of a young man who brings home his Jewish atheist fiancé to meet his very Catholic parents on Christmas Eve. With the inevitable family explosion comes an out-of-left-field miracle that propels the family into a wild exploration of love, religion, personal truth and the nature of earthly reality. It’s not a typical greeting card Christmas.
The cast includes Paul Gilbert as Phil, Jessica Peters as Emily, Steve Barber as Mickey, Wes Hemmann as Andy, and Mabel Schreffler as Randi.
The production crew includes scenic designer,  David J. Olmsted; scenic designer assistants Kreg Paul and Benjamin Rand; lighting designer Lori Friedlander; costume designer, Paul R. Foltz; costume design assistants Katie Helm and Karen Switzer; sound designer, Tamara Heagy; makeup designer, Michele Mulkey; properties master, Terri Hoffman; stage manager, Benjamin Rand; assistant stage manager, Allison Chester; sound board operator, Alexis Manduke; light board operator, Slovenija Slabonik; props, Ben Athorn and Chelsea Ralls; wardrobe, Bekah Hostetter; ticket office manager, Samantha Sierra; and house manager, Jennette Harrison.
