The free, public event returns for the 38th year to HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, offering information to anyone contemplating the many options available in higher education.
The fair will feature two breakout seminars addressing topics of primary interest to the college-bound student. Both seminars will be offered from 6:15-6:45 p.m. and 7:15-7:45 p.m., giving attendees the opportunity to participate in both sessions. One is “Paying for College,” led by Carol Handlan of Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA). This session will address the financial aid application process, as well as help students and parents understand when to start the financial aid process.
Allen Norton, HACC admissions recruiter, will lead the second seminar, “Selecting the College That’s Right for You.” Norton will focus on topics such as how to identify a student’s area of interest and the programs and services that different colleges have to offer.
No RSVP is required to attend. For more information on PACAC's college fair, please call Christina Wood at 717-780-3221 or email cwood@hacc.edu.
