HACC’s Phi Theta Kappa to host annual prom dress sale

Donations accepted at Gettysburg Campus until April 4, 2014

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Members of Phi Theta Kappa at the Gettysburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, will host the organization’s annual prom dress sale on Saturday, April 5, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Robert C. Hoffman Community Room.

The annual sale offers gently worn gowns and accessories just in time for the annual high school prom season. Gowns will be priced at $20. Funds raised from the sale will benefit the United Way and fund a scholarship for Phi Theta Kappa students at the Gettysburg Campus.

“Our students are not only helping girls in the community to feel beautiful on prom night, but they’re also raising money for great causes. We encourage the community to get involved by donating dresses or attending the sale,” said Catherine Frost, Phi Theta Kappa co-advisor.

Donations of prom clothing and accessories will be accepted until Friday, April 4, 2014. For more information or to donate an item, contact Catherine Frost at cefrost@hacc.edu or 717-339-3525.

HACC’s Gettysburg Campus is located at 731 Old Harrisburg Road.
