The Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, received a bomb threat on Dec. 2, 2015, at approximately 10:45 a.m. Shortly thereafter, we issued an alert informing HACC students, employees and visitors to evacuate the Harrisburg Campus.
We are currently working with the Harrisburg Bureau of Police to evaluate the campus. We take all safety-related threats seriously. The safety and security of HACC students, employees and visitors are always top priorities.
At this time, we have not identified any suspicious packages. However, if we do, we will inform our stakeholders.
Once the caller is identified, HACC will work with the appropriate law enforcement agencies to prosecute this person to the fullest extent of the law.
