HACC Foundation Seeks Qualified Applicants for Board of Directors

HARRISBURG, Pa. – The HACC Foundation, a nonprofit educational trust established in 1985 to raise private and corporate revenues in support of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, is seeking professional, ethical, knowledgeable and hard-working individuals to join its Board of Directors.

The Board raises funds for the College, directs the business and financial affairs and serves as the policy-making body of the HACC Foundation. The Board is comprised of corporate and community leaders who are committed to raising funds for and awareness of HACC and its students, programs and facilities.

Greg King, vice chair of the HACC Foundation Board, said, “You don’t have to go far in Central Pennsylvania to meet someone whose life has been positively impacted by their experiences at HACC. Whether it is the high school graduate experiencing their first year of higher education or the middle-aged professional coming back for new training, HACC meets the needs of our community in so many ways. I’ve always been amazed at how many individuals’ lives have been uniquely touched by HACC. It has been an honor serving on the Foundation Board since 2003!”

“HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, provides tremendous services and opportunities for our citizens, businesses and communities. These HACC resources need to be grown, maintained and sustained for the welfare of all of us. The support of HACC is the role of the HACC Foundation Board and the reason I am a member and contributor,” said Gary Laabs, a member of the HACC Foundation Board and HACC alumnus.

Qualified individuals are encouraged to apply for membership on the HACC Foundation Board. Applications are accepted any time and should be submitted using an online application.
