Medical Cannabis Summit Explores Ins, Outs of Pennsylvania’s Medical Marijuana Program

WHAT: Spring 2018 Medical Cannabis Educational Summit at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College
WHEN: March 5, 2018, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
WHERE: Midtown 2 at HACC’s Midtown Trade and Technology Center, 1500 N. Third St., Harrisburg, PA
COVERAGE: Following on the heels of the successful Fall 2017 Medical Cannabis Educational Summit, HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is offering a one-day, wide-ranging summit to give the public an opportunity to learn more about the implementation of Pennsylvania’s Medical Marijuana Program.
 
A variety of educational tracks will be offered in 45-minute blocks, including specific sessions for legal, medical, scientific, human resources and patients. Continuing legal education (CLE) credits will be available for some sessions.
 
Tickets are $89 for the full day, including lunch, and $59 each for a morning or afternoon session only. Registration will remain open through the day of the summit.
 
After the summit, attendees are invited to a networking event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Zeroday Brewing Co., 250 Reily St.
 
Pennsylvania’s Medical Marijuana Program, which is expected to be fully implemented in 2018, will offer medical marijuana to patients who are residents of Pennsylvania and under a practitioner’s care for the treatment of a serious medical condition as defined by the Medical Marijuana Law.
