The HACC Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises private contributions in support of HACC, approved the funds for key projects at the College. This funding is made possible through generous contributions from individual and organizational donors.

| Health Careers Support Initiative | Funding will be used to implement the In-Class Tutoring (ICT) Program at HACC’s Lancaster Campus. ICT is a student success initiative designed to maximize the impact of learning support services. The program identifies both at-risk and gateway courses and assigns a specifically trained ICT to provide on-location learning support to students. | $25,000 |
| Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Travel and Membership | Funding will support conference travel for students in PTK and membership assistance for students who need financial assistance. Funding permits high-performing students access to opportunities they would not normally encounter. | $13,500 |

Plawsky Photography Program Equipment Fund for Excellence | Funding will be used to purchase a highly portable high resolution state-of-the-art Mac laptop computer and wireless headphones to enable students to execute varied photographic projects. HACC Foundation Appoints New Board Members
The HACC Foundation recently welcomed two new members to the HACC Foundation Board.
Megan Kopitsky of Lemoyne is a full-time student at HACC majoring in psychology with the goal to enter medical school. Prior to returning to school in pursuit of a career change, she was a business professional who held various roles within the Diversity and Inclusion Department at Ahold-Delhaize.
Myles Miller, Ph.D., of Harrisburg is a multi-national CEO, author and radio host of “Myles of SUCCESS.” He is an adjunct professor in HACC’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education Division. The founder of global training and success development companies operating in over 100 countries, Miller has over 30 years of experience in the project management field across multiple industries, including defense, hospitality and retail.
The Board raises funds for the College, directs the business and financial affairs and serves as the policy-making body of the HACC Foundation. The Board is comprised of corporate and community leaders who are committed to raising funds for and awareness of HACC and its students, programs and facilities.
Qualified individuals are encouraged to apply for membership on the HACC Foundation Board. Applications are accepted any time and should be submitted using the online application.
