HACC Employee Receives Leadership Award from HACC Foundation

HARRISBURG, Pa. – The HACC Foundation recently named Heather Pragel the recipient of the Bruce E. Cooper, Esq. Leadership Award for her accomplishments and contributions to HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
 
Pragel, an administrative office specialist at HACC, received the award for her skills leading a work group to transition the College to a new system for scheduling meetings.
 
Throughout the process, Pragel led the team willingly and under a significantly reduced timeline. She demonstrated tenacity, professionalism, patience and excellent project management skills. She also created the needed tools, trainings and guides to assist HACC employees with the transition.
 
Pragel serves as the secretary of the Classified Employee Organization at HACC. She has a long history of volunteering with organizations, including Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity and Marine Corps League Auxiliary of the North Shore/Queens, New York.
 
Pragel is a graduate of the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York.
 
Her professional passion is helping HACC students to attain their education.
