The adult degree completion program:
- Requires students to be 24 years or older and have at least 12 college credits but no degree. (The credits can be previously earned from any institution, including HACC.)
- Requires students to enroll in a general studies, liberal arts or social sciences program.
- Encourages students to take at least 18 credits a year.
- Allows students to complete their education quickly.
Students enrolled in the adult degree completion program work with a coach who serves as their “go-to” person.
Their coach provides personalized planning, onboarding and resources to help students earn their degree.
Mauricio Novoa, HACC’s adult degree completion program coach, said, “As HACC’s adult degree completion program coach, it’s my mission to help our students succeed throughout their time at HACC. College can be difficult. Together, we can reach your goals of obtaining a college education.”
