HACC, Yaskawa Motoman Robotics announce partnership
Representatives from HACC and Yaskawa Motoman Robotics cut the ribbon - with the help of two robots - for the grand opening of a Motoman Endorsed Robotics Instructor Training (MERIT) center at the Chambersburg Mall. Through the program, community colleges and universities such as HACC bring the same level and quality of Motoman training to the regional manufacturing workforce.
Standing directly behind the ribbon are, from left, Tom Lepp, HACC mechatronics instructor; Evelyn Weaver, HACC Franklin County coordinator; Steve Holland, Motoman training manager; Ron Young, HACC provost and vice president of academic affairs and enrollment management; Cindy Reiner, dean of workforce training; and Shannon Harvey, interim vice president for HACC-Gettysburg Campus.
Students interested in robotics, HACC's mechatronics program or other information regarding courses in Chambersburg can contact Kathy Buckley, 717-261-5619, email firstname.lastname@example.org; or Evelyn Weaver at 717 385-2821, email email@example.com.
