HACC Announces Adult Degree Completion Program

HARRISBURG, Pa. – In the fall 2021 semester, the average age of a part-time student at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, was 25.4 years old. To address the needs of its adult student population, the College developed the adult degree completion program to assist students in reaching their dreams.

The adult degree completion program:
Chrissy Davis Jones, Ed.D., HACC’s vice president of student affairs and enrollment management, said, “We know that each and every HACC student is unique. The adult degree completion program pairs adult students with a dedicated coach to support them throughout their time at HACC, from day one to graduation day.”

Students enrolled in the adult degree completion program work with a coach who serves as their “go-to” person.
Their coach provides personalized planning, onboarding and resources to help students earn their degree.

Mauricio Novoa, HACC’s adult degree completion program coach, said, “As HACC’s adult degree completion program coach, it’s my mission to help our students succeed throughout their time at HACC. College can be difficult. Together, we can reach your goals of obtaining a college education.”
