Lebanon County’s manufacturers and job seekers will have an opportunity to connect at an upcoming job fair at the Lebanon Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College. HACC’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education Division is holding the Manufacturing Job Fair to help fill the job skills gap faced by manufacturers as their older workers retire. The event is Nov. 7, 2017, from10 a.m.-2 p.m. and is free and open to the public. (more)
Future students in the noncredit Nurse Aide Program at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, can apply for free tuition money, thanks to a grant award of $89,920. The HACC Foundation received the grant award from the Partnership for Better Health, a community foundation that supports sustainable solutions to health challenges. (more)
HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, began offering evening classes at 152 E. Market St., Lewistown, Pennsylvania, in August 2017. HACC offers a selection of general education classes at the new location in Lewistown that will meet requirements for a variety of HACC programs and also seamlessly transfer into the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital School of Nursing program.
