Muhammad Shahab, a senior at Steelton Highspire High School, scoped out a future career as a bush pilot after participating in a professional development and career exploration program at his high school. His classmates in the STEP Academy offered by HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, are looking into careers that include advanced manufacturing and healthcare. (more)

HACC President John J. “Ski” Sygielski, Ed.D., and Eastern Mennonite University at Lancaster Associate Provost Mary L. Jensen, Ed.D., will sign an articulation agreement that will help HACC students seamlessly transfer their credits upon graduation to Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) at Lancaster. The agreement applies to HACC students graduating with an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) or an Associate in Science (AS) degree. (more)

“Playgrounds, Pencils, Pens and Panopticons,” an exhibit of works by Clay Harris, opens Aug. 20, 2018, at HACC’s Lancaster Campus Art Space. An artist reception is scheduled in the Art Space Sept. 5 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Both the exhibit and reception are free and open to the public. (more)
