Mauricia Newsom believes in being “the change that you wish to see in the world” and decided to become an emergency medical technician (EMT). Newsom, a December 2021 graduate of the EMT Program at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is Pennsylvania certified and nationally certified as an EMT.

A formal ribbon cutting Nov. 16, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. will launch the first partnership in Lebanon County to offer HACC’s Industrial Manufacturing Technician (IMT) Apprenticeship Program. Participants will cut a piece of Lebanon bologna to represent the long history of Godshall’s Quality Meats, where the event will take place. (more)

Lebanon County’s manufacturers and job seekers will have an opportunity to connect at an upcoming job fair at the Lebanon Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College. HACC’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education Division is holding the Manufacturing Job Fair to help fill the job skills gap faced by manufacturers as their older workers retire. The event is Nov. 7, 2017, from10 a.m.-2 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
