HACC’s Social Justice Scholarships Encourage Representation

Mauricia Newsom believes in being “the change that you wish to see in the world” and decided to become an emergency medical technician (EMT). Newsom, a December 2021 graduate of the EMT Program at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is Pennsylvania certified and nationally certified as an EMT.

HACC’s Gettysburg Campus nursing program graduates largest class
Associate degree graduates in HACC’s registered nursing program were honored with their nursing pins during a ceremony at the Gettysburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College. The May 2014 graduates successfully completed their clinical nursing education, which qualifies them to take licensure exams to become registered nurses (RNs). Future nursing graduates – who completed their first year of the two-year degree program – were also honored with their stripes.

‘Food and Things Resembling Art’ exhibit at HACC’s Gettysburg Campus
‘Food and Things Resembling Art,’ by Lesa Cook, of Burkittsville, Md., will be on exhibit in the main art hallway of the Gettysburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, Monday, Jan. 6 through Thursday, March 13, 2014. A reception for the artist will be held on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 10 a.m.
