The HACC Foundation, a non-profit educational trust established in 1985 to raise private and corporate revenues in support of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, is seeking professional, ethical, knowledgeable and hard-working individuals to join its Board of Directors.
The HACC Foundation and TE Connectivity Foundation celebrated their nearly three-decade partnership today, May 8, 2014, with the dedication of the new TE Connectivity Foundation 3-D Print Lab, at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College’s Midtown Center, in the building located at 1500 N. Third St., Harrisburg.
The HACC Foundation, in honor of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College’s 50th anniversary, is giving 1,000 students – 500 new and 500 current students – a “Happy Birthday” present. Current HACC students who register for at least nine credits between March 31 and April 11, 2014, for the fall 2014 semester will be eligible for a drawing to receive $100 off their tuition. New students are also encouraged to register between Monday, April 14 and April 25, 2014, for the same opportunity.
The HACC Foundation Board of Directors and HACC President John J. “Ski” Sygielski, Ed.D., recognized 2013-14 Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) contributors during the Board’s meeting on March 17, 2014, at the Shumaker Public Safety Center on HACC’s Harrisburg Campus.
The HACC Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works to raise private contributions in support of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, has approved the funding needed for the HACC Generic Automotive Technology Program (GATP) to purchase additional vehicles for a fleet and tool upgrade to train students.
The HACC Foundation spring scholarship cycle is open now through April 1, 2014, with more than 200 scholarships available. HACC students are encouraged to apply for funds that may offset their tuition and books costs for the fall 2014 and spring 2015 terms.
