HACC Students Benefit from Enhanced Transfer Pathway to Millersville University or Shippensburg University

Three Pennsylvania postsecondary institutions have partnered to give their students academic guidance and student success services for a seamless transition from an associate degree to a bachelor’s degree.
On Dec. 5, 2022, the presidents of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College; Millersville University; and Shippensburg University signed an historic enhanced articulation agreement that is the first multi-institution, multi-program study articulation for the three institutions. The presidents and representatives from the three institutions gathered at HACC’s Harrisburg Campus for the signing event.

With more microbreweries opening across Central Pennsylvania, beer enthusiasts are finding more choices for their taste buds. Now, 10 Brewing Science Program students from HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, added one more beer to the list for the public to enjoy: Hoppily YOURS.

HACC Student Receives National Massage Therapy Scholarship
Rachel Benbow, a student in the massage therapy program at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, has been awarded a $2,500 American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) Massage Therapy Summer Scholarship.

Chambersburg Robotics Lab grand opening
Representatives from HACC and Yaskawa Motoman Robotics cut the ribbon - with the help of two robots - for the grand opening of a Motoman Endorsed Robotics Instructor Training (MERIT) center. Through the program, community colleges and universities such as HACC bring the same level and quality of Motoman training to the regional manufacturing workforce.
