With the start of fall classes Monday, HACC is seeing a significant spike in enrollment to an anticipated enrollment of more than 21,000 students. However, the continuing state budget impasse is limiting the availability of classes and even limiting the number of classes students need. (more)
HACC’s Sen. John J. Shumaker Public Safety Center offers the instruction needed to become an Emergency Medical Technician. Those interested in becoming an EMT can choose the 140-hour EMT-Basic course or enroll in the 450-hour EMS Academy for certification and additional advanced training.
HACC’s new CDL Driving Certification Program is a four- to six-week program that will take you through the process to obtain a CDL license from preparation for a permit to fine-tuning skills after passing the state exam. (more)
