Muhammad Shahab, a senior at Steelton Highspire High School, scoped out a future career as a bush pilot after participating in a professional development and career exploration program at his high school. His classmates in the STEP Academy offered by HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, are looking into careers that include advanced manufacturing and healthcare. (more)
Recognition is rapidly growing that educating incarcerated individuals results in rehabilitated lives and families, safer communities and financial savings. HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, welcomes this development, because it is our mission to create opportunities to transform lives through a quality and accessible higher education experience. While HACC conducts outreach and offers financial assistance, without access to Pell grants, higher education can be out of reach of incarcerated students.
The HACC Foundation announces new funds to support students attending HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College. The HACC Foundation is a nonprofit educational trust established in 1985 to raise private and corporate revenues in support of the College. (more)
