HACC Students Benefit from Enhanced Transfer Pathway to Millersville University or Shippensburg University

Three Pennsylvania postsecondary institutions have partnered to give their students academic guidance and student success services for a seamless transition from an associate degree to a bachelor’s degree.
On Dec. 5, 2022, the presidents of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College; Millersville University; and Shippensburg University signed an historic enhanced articulation agreement that is the first multi-institution, multi-program study articulation for the three institutions. The presidents and representatives from the three institutions gathered at HACC’s Harrisburg Campus for the signing event.

Since March 19, 2020, all but a few employees and all students at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, have been working and learning remotely as a result of the global coronavirus pandemic. Thousands of employees found themselves coping with unique situations as they adjusted to today’s “new normal.” (more)

The HACC Library didn’t miss a beat when HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, closed its campuses in mid-March and switched to fully remote or online instruction and services. The 21 faculty librarians easily moved on-campus services to just a mouse-click or email away. (more)
