HACC Students Benefit from Enhanced Transfer Pathway to Millersville University or Shippensburg University
Three Pennsylvania postsecondary institutions have partnered to give their students academic guidance and student success services for a seamless transition from an associate degree to a bachelor’s degree.
 
On Dec. 5, 2022, the presidents of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College; Millersville University; and Shippensburg University signed an historic enhanced articulation agreement that is the first multi-institution, multi-program study articulation for the three institutions. The presidents and representatives from the three institutions gathered at HACC’s Harrisburg Campus for the signing event.

Hubbard Street 2 to Grace the Stage at HACC’s Live at Rose Lehrman

Show scheduled for Feb. 21


HARRISBURG, Pa. – Hubbard Street Dance Chicago brings Hubbard Street 2 (HS2), a powerful eight-member contemporary dance ensemble, to Live at Rose Lehrman on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at 8 p.m. in the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.

Known for athleticism and fearless dancing, HS2 has toured nationally and internationally, performing for more than 60,000 annually. Dancers from around the world – ages 18 to 25 – audition for HS2. After their time with the company, dancers will move on to the parent company, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, or to other high-profile contemporary dance companies.

The HS2 program for Live at Rose Lehrman will include “Strides,” choreographed by Norbert De La Cruz III,  and “By the skin of my teeth,” choreographed by Gregory Dolbashian. Both pieces were created through the 2012 National Choreographic Competition, a program of Hubbard Street's Choreographic Development Initiative.

The show sponsors for HS2 are the Lois Lehrman Grass Foundation and abc27-TV.

The Live at Rose Lehrman Artist Series season 2013-14 sponsors include: Lois Lehrman Grass Foundation, HACC Foundation, HACC Alumni Association, McCormick Family Foundation, Cultural Enrichment Fund, The Foundation for Enhancing Communities – Rose Lehrman Fund, The Franklin H. and Ruth L.
