HACC to offer new, convenient blended classes at the Lebanon Campus

LEBANON, Pa. –  Priority registration for new blended classes at the Lebanon Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College begins Monday, March 31, 2014.

“This new initiative will help to enhance learning opportunities in the Lebanon community through the use of academic technology,” said Lois Schaffer, interim vice president of HACC’s Lancaster and Lebanon campuses. “Blended classes will create more pathways to degree completion at the Lebanon Campus, allowing us to better serve our students.”

Through blended classes, students will now be able to complete six degree programs at the Lebanon Campus, including:

  • Business administration
  • Business studies
  • Health science
  • Humanities, language and the arts
  • Phlebotomy
  • Social sciences

Amy Withrow, interim director of advancement and outreach for Virtual Learning, said, “Blended classes allow students the flexibility of not coming to campus as often as fully on-campus classes require, while also allowing the face-to face interactions with faculty and peers that is sometimes missing in fully online classes. They are truly a blend of online flexibility and helpful on-campus learning experiences.”

Visit www.hacc.edu for information about registering for classes.

The Lebanon Campus of HACC is located at 735 Cumberland Street.
