It's Not Too Late to Register for HACC Classes

Late-start registration is open now.

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Students across Central Pennsylvania are returning to the classroom or entering the world of college for the first time. The fall term begins Aug. 24, 2015, at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College. Though, it’s not too late for students to register for HACC’s late-start fall classes. Late-start classes – in the classroom at all five campuses and online – begin later in the fall term, specifically on Sept. 8, 2015.

Students can apply online or visit any of HACC’s five campuses on Aug. 22, 2015, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. to:

  • Learn more about the admissions process
  • Receive details on how to enroll
  • Discuss financial aid and payment options
  • Meet with an academic advisor
  • Register for classes
  • Pay bills
The flexibility of start times, offering of child care and ability to take classes online allow traditional and non-traditional students to continue their education. “HACC is a great resource for our community. The instruction is top notch and the choices available are varied. Students should choose a college that has the option of both online and facility classes. This is especially important for the non-traditional student who may be working full time,” said Sue Anne Rohrer, HACC alumna and aquatic director of Lancaster Family YMCA.

Students have options for financial assistance as well. There are more than 200 HACC Foundation scholarships available to assist with paying for education. Once a person enrolls at HACC, he or she can apply for scholarships through Oct. 1.

For additional information about late-start classes, visit hacc.edu/NotTooLate or contact a campus Welcome Center.
